Statue of Liberty & Battery Park

See Lady Liberty close enough with no cost, take the Staten Island Ferry and stay at the back right side of the ferry. When done, go back on ferry. Battery Park is there where there are memorials to see. There is a paid tour. From the hotel, take the downtown 1 (red) train to South Ferry and stay in the first 5 cars.

9-11 Memorial & Fraunces Tavern

It is free to walk around and see the memorial. There are tours to see the museum which takes 60 mins. From the hotel, take the downtown 1 train to WTC Cortland St.

Then go visit the oldest bar in NYC! Fraunces Tavern located at 54 Pearl St. Opened in 1762, it is said to be the place where peace negotiations were made and George Washington's favorite place. It is a bar, a restaurant and a museum.

South Street Seaport & Pier 17

The famous fish market was once here. Now the area is filled with shops, restaurants, tours and a "park" to sit and watch the East River. There is a ship there to explore as well as helicopter rides.

Pier 17 is a popular location for dining, seeing both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge and lots of other attractions including the roof top bar.
